Using the MS Word Track Changes Feature for Editing
Hi, my name is Jacqui MacKenzie and I'm an editor here at Straight North. I'm going to discuss how to use "track changes" in Microsoft Word to edit your content. Track changes is a great editing tool that allows multiple users to make changes to a single document. We encourage our clients to use track changes during the content approval process. This way, writers can create content that best reflects the client's services, message, and style. To use track changes in Microsoft Word, simply go to the review tab, click on track changes, and make edits to the document as usual. These changes are then marked up on the page for the final editor to see, and they can be revised as needed. This is helpful because it allows the editor to see all the changes on the page. Who made them, when, and why. Using track changes in Microsoft Word allows for a smoothe editorial process, and ensures that our writers create the best possible content for each client's project. Again, my name is Jacqui MacKenzie, and if you have any questions regarding Microsoft Office tools or the editorial process, please feel free to contact me. Thank you.
