There is an option to import the posts from blogspot in wordpress 2.0. But I never tried it.

If you get a good hosting company (with Fantastico support so you can auto-install and auto-update) and set your own domain up, it's as easy to have your own WordPress-powered site as to use Blogger. I use it for my own blog, of course, but also to build simple sites for my wife's theatre company (www.ccompany.cc), my mother's business (www.winterbourneevents.com) and others. I can put up a nice site for friends and family in a few hours. WordPress is great.
