No worries, Brad! As a rule, people who knit are used to people who don't being confused. My favorite was when the Yarn Harlot--like, THE rock star of the knitting world--was knitting on a subway and a little boy asked her what she was doing. She said, "Knitting," and the boy's mother corrected her. "Actually, what she's doing is crocheting." Um ... wouldn't the person DOING it know? Especially when she's written a number of books about it? But, anyway, spinning is how you make the yarn, knitting is (one of the possiblities for) what you do with it. --Debs last blog post..Numbers and Words
