Client Blog Makes the Search Engine Marketing BIGLIST

Posted by:

The BIGLIST of Search Marketing Blogs is a list of top blogs in that niche compiled by TopRank Online Marketing. I’ve followed this list for a while because of the quality of its SEM and SEO blogs.

Last week I was pleasantly surprised to learn that The Whoa Factor, the blog I write for my client Whoast, Inc., made the BIGLIST. Thanks, TopRank! To me and the staff at Whoast, this is a real honor.

Whoast, Inc.Whoast, Inc. is a multifaceted search engine marketing firm based in Chicago. Their specialties include professional SEO services and ppc management. They are a hard working and fun-to-be-around crew. They do excellent work and recently expanded their services into web site design.

I’ve been writing The Whoa Factor since 2006. Recently, I brought on Jeanne Dininni as cowriter. Jeanne is a superb writer and is already adding lots of energy and insight to the blog. Mainly, the blog covers search engine marketing and search engine optimization. We write for non specialists who are trying to make sense of the highly technical, rapidly changing, and jargon laden worlds of SEM and SEO.

If you want a taste of The Whoa Factor, check out our Best Posts of 2008. If you have ideas for topics, please let me or Jeanne know. We love trying to demystify the world of online marketing.

  2. Brad,

Congratulations to yourself, Jeanne and all of the staff at Whoasst for your achievements.

Bloggers who are able to decode any form of technical jargon and put it into plain English are always likely to generate an audience, and you seem to have a good sense of how to take what appear to be complex phenomonen in relation to information technology and explaining it in simple terms which are easy to understand, so the popularity of the blog does not surprise me.

  4. Hi Lillie, Karen, and Joanna – Thanks. It’s a lot of fun writing TWF.

Hi Andrew, Not sure how popular TWF is (we’re working on that), but there have been many occasions where we’ve used a post to deal with a specific client question. I do think people get very frustrated with SEO, which is a real shame because it is absolutely critical to any marketing effort.

I was quite honored when you asked me to come on board at The Whoa Factor and have been enjoying the challenge ever since! It’s great to be involved with such a top-notch company as Whoast, and I’ve truly enjoyed working with such an excellent, professional, and generous blogger as you. Writing for TWF has got to be one of the best blogging jobs on the entire Web!

Clever post, Brad. You make a great hired gun for the industry in which you are involved. Also do an effective job of pointing to your successes in an inoffensive manner. Not the easiest thing in the world for most of us to do!

  13. Good content. Just wanted to add some points here that may be helpful for those looking out for professional SEO services. There are tons of SEO companies offering different SEO packages and solutions at highly competitive rates. However, when looking our for these services, its important to not only look at the affordability factor but also what is unique about their SEO service and what differentiates them from other companies.

While choosing an SEO company its equally important to analyze the SEO company’s website in terms of their Rankings, Yahoo links, Google index, Alexa ranking and similar such factors which indicates the company’s expertise in the field of SEO. So make sure you are doing enough research and smart work before investing your advertising spend.
