I loved the one about serious blog design flaws, and going back and reading it reminded me of a task which I should have done months ago - added a search box to the homepage. There is no point in having archives if readers cannot easily find what they are looking for, a process made so much easier by the existence of a search box. I will have one on my own blog in a couple of weeks.
